A modern spin on a traditional draw bored mortise and tenon joint stool.
Tiger Maple with water stain, shellac, and beeswax
MILK PAINT JOINT STOOL
A different look at a similar stool. The top is tiger maple, the base is milk painted following a ‘black on red’ process laid out by Peter Galbert. Top and bottom are sealed and finished with a spar varnish and tung oil mixture followed by wax.
LOW LIQUOR CABINET
This commission was built to be free standing and fit just under a window sill in the clients dining room. Sliding doors, book matched veneer panels, adjustable shelves inside. Water stain to match existing floors and ebonized oak beading for accent. Finished with clear conversion varnish and white painted interior.
